A Bafta-winning TV presenter Dr Xand frequently works with his identical twin brother Dr Chris. Their programmes include funny and informative shows like Operation Ouch!, The Twinstitute and Planet Child.
Dr Xand and Dr Chris are famous for taking a very hands-on approach to explaining how the body works. The brothers' Horizon special Is Binge Drinking Really That Bad? They tested the effects of drinking moderate amounts of alcohol daily (tested by Chris) and bingeing weekly (tested by Xand).
Dr Xand has gone on to explore the impact of diet on health in programmes and the best-selling book How to Lose Weight Well. He has also investigated the effects of air pollution for Horizon: Fighting for Air saw him work with the community in Kings Heath, Birmingham, to create a clean air street.
As his many Twitter followers know, Dr Xand has been a long-time fan of the British Parking Awards and he revealed to past host Lucy Porter he really wanted to host the event too. So the Parking Review team are pleased to make his dream come true.
He was revealed as host at our Parking Social which took place on board a river boat in London on 10 September 2019 and he presented the Winners at the Royal Lancaster on 6 March 2020.
